Live and Teach on Purpose
How do we make our life work to attract good and reject negative?
How do we change things that aren’t working?
How do we fulfill our beliefs?
These are all moral and ethical questions. These concepts are based on personal convictions and philosophy. If we live in-spirit, we live inspired and can inspire others. By having a strong connection to our source of creation we can live at a higher, more self-actualized level and easily make the optimum decisions. In doing so, we are able to show others our love, compassion and understanding of each other and the world.
Living and teaching with integrity will enable us to be positive influences on our students. The respect we show for self and others can help students be aware of how they treat others and how they think about themselves. We can be the reflection in the mirror they strive to resemble. We show how to achieve success through challenges and make changes for the good in our lives.
The lesson plans below illustrate my strategies and procedures for teaching basic principals and techniques of visual art effectively. These are in alignment with secondary level standards but could be modified for elementary level also.
